World`s End Biennial
It is with great honor that I have accepted the invitation by Vittoria Biasi, Italian curator, art critic, historian of contemporary art, and faculty member at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence to be part of the fourth edition of the Biennial of World’s End 2014/2015 running from 9 December 2014 until 28 February 2015 in Argentina (Ushuaia in Tierra del Fuego, Mar del Plata - Buenos Aires Province), in Chile (Valparaiso - Parque Cultural) and Punta Arenas in the Brunswick Peninsula.
My work for the Biennial titled “Ours and Theirs, Extensions” is an exploration of tactility that is an expression of awareness of human emotions and relations, while at the same time expressing my search for new ways of transmitting them through a space that I create. The space of "Ours and Theirs, Extension" will evoke a sacred atmosphere where human condition can be felt and reflected upon. The sculpture I will be creating for this exhibition is a metamorphosis of my prior work titled "Extensions" seen below.

The fingers are that extension of our body, which we use to experience and record the material world we are always in contact with. I am interested in the ways that we are involved in the tactility of our life which brings me to use fingers as sculptural multiples. I see them as expressing an overwhelming feeling of awareness of our relationships with the environment, as well as the ones we create between ourselves as humans.
“Biennal of World ‘s End” is one of the most artistic, cultural, tourist events in the Southern Cone of America. It has a major impact in the region and is internationally recognized.
